Privacy Policy
Ranger Operation Services Inc respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It covers this website and the Ranger customer mobile app for iOS and Android.
Information we collect
- Details you give us: name, phone, email, company, service address and city, service requested, dates, guard count and any notes you add to a quote or booking.
- Account information: if you create an account, your email address, a securely hashed password, and the profile and notification preferences you save.
- Messages: messages you exchange with our AI assistant or dispatch.
- App and device information: in the mobile app we store a notification token for each device you turn notifications on for, along with the app version and the device model, so we can send you booking updates. We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise background location, or advertising identifiers, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Usage measurement: page views, referring source and basic technical information used to understand which pages and app screens are used.
How we use it
To respond to your request, quote, schedule and dispatch security services, send you service updates by email or notification, meet Florida licensing and regulatory requirements, and improve our website and app. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiles.
Notifications
Notifications are optional. In the app you choose whether a device receives them, and you can turn them off at any time in Account or in your phone's settings. Turning them off deletes that device's notification token from our systems. Notification content is limited to your own bookings and enquiries.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that operate our systems on our behalf: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, our notification delivery provider, and our AI assistant provider for the message you send it. We also disclose information where the law or a licensing authority requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote and booking records are retained as long as required for our licensing, insurance and tax obligations. Notification tokens are removed when you turn notifications off, sign out or delete your account.
Your choices and account deletion
You can delete your account yourself at any time in the app or website under Account → Delete my account. Doing so permanently deletes your login, profile and notification settings, and removes your name, email, phone, company and addresses from past quotes and bookings. Anonymous records of work that was dispatched are retained as required of a licensed security operator. You can also email privacy@rangeroperationservices.com to request access, correction or deletion.
Children
Our services are intended for business and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in access-controlled infrastructure. Only authorized Ranger staff access lead and booking data.
