Are your officers licensed?+
Every Ranger officer holds a current Florida DBPR Class D license. Armed officers additionally hold a Class G firearm license with quarterly qualification exceeding state minimums.

How much does security cost?+
Unarmed officers start around $28–34/hr and armed officers around $38–48/hr in most Florida markets. Executive protection, special response, and specialty programs are quoted per detail.
Is there a minimum shift length?+
Standard minimum is 4 hours for scheduled coverage and 8 hours for overnight fire watch. Mobile patrol pricing is per-visit.
Do you require a long-term contract?+
No. Ranger offers 30-day cancellation on all standard contracts and single-event pricing for one-off details.

Licensing & Training
What is a Class D vs Class G license?+
Class D is Florida's baseline unarmed security officer license (40-hour curriculum). Class G is the armed firearm license requiring 28 additional hours plus quarterly qualification. Both are issued by DBPR.
Do your officers complete de-escalation training?+
Yes. Every officer completes verbal de-escalation and use-of-force decision training exceeding state minimums, and healthcare-assigned officers additionally complete CPI.
Are officers background-checked?+
Yes. FBI/FDLE Level 2 background, drug screen, and driving history are required before badge issuance and repeated annually.
