Ranger Operation Services Inc was founded in 2018 on a simple observation: Florida's growth had outpaced the state of contract security. Property managers were choosing between three under-trained vendors racing each other to the bottom on price. Our founders — former federal protective services and Florida law enforcement — built Ranger to be the alternative: certified officers, disciplined supervision, and technology that makes patrols verifiable and reports court-ready.

Licensing, insurance, and compliance
Florida Security License: FL Security License #B3200150 (Class B Security Agency), issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing.
Officer licensing: Every officer holds a current Florida Class D Security License. Armed officers additionally hold a current Class G Statewide Firearm License with quarterly qualification.
Insurance: $5,000,000 general liability, $1,000,000 professional liability (E&O), and full statutory workers' compensation.
Compliance-aware coverage: HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NFPA fire watch documentation, Florida OMMU rules for cannabis clients, and NAID handling for records destruction sites.
